HARMONIZATION OF THE NATIONAL ACCREDITATION SYSTEM WITH THE EUROPEAN
QUALITY ASSURANCE SYSTEM
The
RAEE criteria and procedure for accrediting engineering programmes will be
harmonized with the EUR-ACE Standards and ENQA Standards and Guidelines
on quality assurance. Harmonization of Russian accreditation system with the
common European system will contribute to the integration of Russian Federation
into the European Higher Education Area (EHEA).
þ GUIDELINES ON SELF-EVALUATION REPORTS
The
project presumes that academic staff of HEIs which programmes will be evaluated
according the EUR-ACE Standards, will acquire the knowledge on preparation of
self-evaluation report. For this purpose, training visits with participation of
European experts of accreditation organizations are scheduled
and guidelines for HEIs will be developed.
Training
courses and workshops will be organized in order to train experts to conduct
evaluation of educational programmes in accordance with the EUR-ACE standards
and procedures and ENQA Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the
European Higher Education Area. These experts will be trained to work as members
of international evaluation teams running the ENAEE accreditation awarding the
EUR-ACE label.
Accreditation
visits will be carried out to evaluate programmes of interested HEIs in accordance
with European standards for engineering education.

dissemination seminar will be organized to disseminate the project results and
to promote good practices.
