Member Associations

The Civilingenjörsförbund is an exclusive service and professional organisation for Sweden's graduate engineers and student members at the six technical universities and institutes.

The three central tasks of the Civilingenjörsförbund are :

• To negotiate members' salaries and conditions of employment
• To uphold the significance of technology and of graduate engineers in society
• To work towards higher quality in advanced technical education.

The Civilingenjörsförbund is one of the parties that negotiates and concludes collective agreements on behalf of its members. In the private sector CF signs agreements with up to 50 employers' unions, normally associated with SAF (The Swedish Employers' Confederation). In the public sector and local government CF negotiates jointly with the other academic associations of SACO (the Swedish Confederations of Professional Associations).
