11.05.01 Prof. Shannon asked how Engineering Council performance standards related to the UK Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) Benchmarks for Engineering.

Engineering Council replied that the QAA Benchmarks were drawn up by a group who included those familiar with the Engineering Council criteria, but were not intended to be used to determine whether programmes would meet the criteria for professional registration in the UK.
